Knowsley based JobsTheWord – one of the pioneers in the use of big data analytics in the recruitment industry – has created MapUp, a tool designed for employers to instantly view where their perfectly matched prospective candidates reside.
The app is aimed at recruiters looking to get ahead of the game when it comes to discovering the UK’s top talent.
Using a series of complex algorithms, MapUp has the ability to discover anyone who has an online presence matching the specific skill set required by employers.
The example shown is an illustration of where 2014 graduates with a first class degree in Mathematical Sciences reside in the UK, a valuable resource for companies looking to recruit high quality interns during the current shortage of young people with STEM subjects.
MapUp greatly enhances the big data recruitment services already on offer by JobsTheWord. It now enables employers to instantly see where potential candidates matching the exact skills and experience criteria they require are, before directly reaching out to them personally. This not only increases the quality of applicant, it radically reduces the time and cost of recruitment cutting out the agency route.
